I suffered a traumatic brain injury in 2009. When I contacted High Fives for help with my rehab, independence and recovery they were right there. High Fives continues to support me with therapies, medical equipment and their wonderful caring for one of their athletes. I thank them over and over again for the relationship we have developed. High Fives Foundation has helped me in so many ways with my rehab. I suffered a traumatic brain injury and they were right there offering their help. High Fives has helped me to walk with assistance, gain flexibility, coordination, balance, coordination,and body awareness. They provided an electronic gait system for walking, an outdoor all season wheelchair so I can continue my outdoor activities all year round, therapeutic horseback riding to increase the areas I listed above and having me participate in the making of an award winning documentary about helmet safety. This documentary has provided me with the opportunity to go and speak to schools about the importance of wearing a helmet. I love talking with students about helmet safety and the helmet I wore saved my life. Thanks to High Fives I am able to love life, right here right now.

This is my second review of the High Fives Foundation. They continue to support me in my journey to be the best that I can be. They are always there for me when I need to talk, to get info, and letting me know about events that I can participate in. Just recently they purchased an outdoor four season wheelchair for me so I can enjoy the outdoors with more independence. They made a video called Helmets Are Cool and they asked me to be in the video. I now travel throughout Vermont presenting my story and showing the video to schools. High Fives led the way and now I can present to schools all on my own. Check out the video on their web site. I love you High Fives!

High Fives supported my regaining my independence by purchasing Bioness Stimulation equipment to help me walk again. I suffered a traumatic brain injury snowboarding. It has been a long journey to recover and High Fives continues to support me and my family with whatever it takes to help me live a wonderful, independent and successful life. I love them sooooooooooo much.
