I have been a visitor and donor and follower of The Wild Animal Sanctuary since 2006. I love to visit and see the continual improvements made to the animals habitats and lives. The animals are content, active and at home in their own large territories. It is wonderful to see the animals playing or interacting socially with one another. The lions roaring, tigers challenging one another, a leopard purring or wolves howling are the sounds of animals now enjoying a wonderful existence.
The sanctuary is focused on the animals and their welfare, but they built a fantastic mile into the wild walkway for viewing the animals in their natural element. The sanctuary has a second mission of educating the public which they do splendidly as well.
I love to visit the sanctuary whenever I am in the area to just take a walk into the wild with nature.
The sanctuary director has compassion for all living things; all life is precious to him. The sanctuary extends assistance whenever possible to other sanctuaries as well for animal transportation and relocation services; it is about saving the lives of animals and providing the with comfortable and compassionate care.
I love to share information about The Wild Animal Sanctuary with others through my office, and my clients look forward to reading about what is new at the sanctuary.
