Review for The Wild Animal Sanctuary, Keenesburg, CO, USA
TWAS is one of the most amazing places I have ever been to. After my walk on the "mile through the wild", seeing bears roaming free, watching lions lay in the sun, hearing lions roar in the Lion House and seeing tigers playing in the grass, my life was changed forever. I am a proud supporter in the adopt an animal program and it's the best money I spend every month. I am so glad at Pat Craig and his band of employees, family and volunteers are there to help these wonderful animals live a happy life.

Review for The Wild Animal Sanctuary, Keenesburg, CO, USA
The Wild Animal Sanctuary was one of the most amazing places I have ever visited. I had only been to zoos before and this is so different and in my opinion so much better for the animals. The Mile Into the Wild was awesome! You get to see these amazing animals just enjoying life and not have to perform for the visiting public. The animals seem very happy and well cared for. We enjoyed the domestic dog pack hanging out at the entrance too, and we learned that the nice man telling us about the dogs and their work was the executive director, Pat Craig. I was so inspired after my visit that I became a donor and adopted a tiger. This place deserves all of the support it can get to continue protecting these amazing creatures.
