Review for Denkai Animal Sanctuary, Grover, CO, USA
I have been a big fan of Denkai for about 3 years now, since they helped me in being able to rescue 2 horses from auction where they would have been sent to slaughter. The founder is just awesome in her devotion and management and her vision. Every effort is made to help animals with special needs to become a likely adoption candidate. The compassion displayed by the Denkai staff is amazing.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
give them tons of money so they could devote more time to the animals and less to having to raise funding.

Review for The Wild Animal Sanctuary, Keenesburg, CO, USA
I'm so impressed with Pat Craig and his family, who have devoted their lives to giving these animals, that had no where else to go, a good life. Many have never known any type of kindness before arriving at The Wild Animal Sanctuary. They have built elevated walkways so that visitors may get to view these animals without disturbing them. They encourage people to come visit, but the animals there are not in a zoo situation where they are for the entertainment of people. The main purpose of this sanctuary is to give these animals a home where they will not be abused or neglected and can have space to roam and just enjoy life.
