The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg, Colorado is such a wonderful example of hope for animals in need. Without this place, many more animals would be needlessly destroyed through no fault of their own. My family visits at least once a month and participates in their many fundraising events. I am proud to have this non-profit in my own backyard.
