Having moved to Colorado from California to attend college, and then going on to start my adult life there, I had always heard of The Wildlife Sanctuary, but had thought it was farther away than it really way. Finally, my parent took my brother and I there on a family outing when he came to visit. It was AMAZING! I loved seeing the animals is such a relaxed setting. To see the volunteers walk up to the enclosure and have the tigers come up to them to get petted was amazing. I loved being able to watch the animals from up above and from so close of a range. You really got a feel for how large and beautiful these animals are. I have sinced moved out of state, but when I go back to Colorado to visit, I always try to make a stop at The Wild Animal Sanctuary. I cant wait to bring my kids there one day!
