Review for The Wild Animal Sanctuary, Keenesburg, CO, USA
I first discovered The Wild Animal Sanctuary this summer when I was visiting family in Colorado. It was incredible to see all the animals, the big cats especially, and how they were recovering or enjoying life on the prairies of Colorado. As I am graduating high school this year I hope to be able to volunteer at TWAS in the summers in order to help them support these awesome animals even better. I wish to dedicate my life to saving and protecting wild animals and my visit to TWAS has inspired me to follow my dreams and remember my Colorado roots. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to TWAS with my grandparents, my parents, and my younger cousin. It was also very nice to see that they had easily accessible wheel chairs for the elderly.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
As I went to TWAS with my grandparents in mid-July, I was able to see how exhausting the "mile into the wild" can be and as it is a wonderful experience that many people should enjoy, I believe the organization could make some improvements to make it more accessible to all members of the general public. I think it would be beneficial to have a few more shade spots or a covering over the walkway.
