Review for San Diego Civic Youth Ballet, San Diego, CA, USA
SDCYB is an amazing ballet school! The teaching staff is professional, knowledgeable and nurturing. Each level challenges my daughter more without pressure. We LOVE the performance opportunities and the fact that every dancer who auditions gets a part in their productions. As a mom, I really appreciate that the teachers and staff support my daughter to be her best and are respectful of a dancer's growing body without pressure to be a certain weight or look a certain way. We love having class in beautiful Balboa Park as well! One of the unique aspects of SDCYB is their daytime classes for home schooled students of all levels. I also appreciate the outreach that SDCYB does to the community, bringing dance education and experiences to schools throughout San Diego.
