Review for The Wild Animal Sanctuary, Keenesburg, CO, USA
My second visit to the Sanctuary (first with the expanded walkway) was so wonderful that I signed up to become a volunteer. Every Saturday I get the privilege of 'visiting heaven'. It is beyond rewarding to watch animals who have suffered often horrific abuse realize they are safe and loved. I am not alone -- I have had a number of visitors come up to me in tears because they are so moved. It is my honor to work with the animals, staff, and other volunteers at the Sanctuary.
