Review for The Wild Animal Sanctuary, Keenesburg, CO, USA
The first day I heard about The Wild Animal Sanctuary I immediately got my things and headed out the door. I spent an hour and a half there during my first trip which was filled with so much joy in my heart from what amazing things all of the folks at TWAS are doing for these beautiful creatures it brought tears to my eyes. By the time I left that day my cheeks hurt from smiling. I really love that they share the animals journeys with us through their amazing rescue videos along the mile long (35ft high) walkway. I have never loved ZOOs because I always felt sad for the animals being in tiny, confined spaces with people constantly in their faces. Here, it's if you see them, you see them. You get a sneak peek into their life at the sanctuary without being overly intrusive. I have gone back several times since and have taken friends and family, my niece also fell in love with TWAS. So thank you Pat Craig and the TWAS team for all that you do! Much Love.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Keep doing what you are doing. Keep growing and rescuing. (So I guess that's not really a change needed, but encouragement to continue) :) Oh, maybe a better computer (check-in/check-out) system. It has been a little wonky two times I was there. That's it though. And that I can handle!
