I had never heard of the Sanctuary til this summer. My husband and I took our three grandsons (ages nine through thirteen) for a day in August. Even though most of the animals were sleeping in the shade, we were very impressed with the place. So impressed, that we adopted two animals: a mountain lion and a lynx. The boys now have a picture of their adopted animal to keep. Love this place!
