Review for The Wild Animal Sanctuary, Keenesburg, CO, USA
I went to the park with my mom in the summer, it was our first time going and it was amazing! I just loved how close we could get to the animals, and how much room they had! That was the most amazing part. We both knew that all of these animals were in smaller pens and cages so it was so nice to see them have this opened space. I most certainly like this place better than the Zoo. Though the Zoo is a learning center, it is sometimes hard to see the Animals pacing and panting. None of that at the Sanctuary, they were all relaxed and content. I think the high light of the day for us was when we saw the brown Bear in his water just relaxed as could be with his little head sticking out and nothing else. We also had a Volunteer talk to us while we ate lunch, it was overall such a wonderful experience.
