John contacted me after watching my two TV interviews on the night of the annual homeless census in Syracuse. He invited me to travel with him and his wife Leigh Ann as they distributed lunches to their homeless contacts in Syracuse. I was deeply moved to observe the level of their commitment to these people, by the beautifully prepared and nutritious lunches they distribited and by their generosity in providing for various needs their street friends expressed that day, for example, for clothes, hygiene products. and shoes.
