Mended Hearts is such an amazing organization who has helped me through my journey for the past 9 years. Being a part of a community that understands and "gets me" is so important to me. I love that I can be empowered to make a difference in the lives of others and be able to serve a mission that I love through Mended Hearts. I have worked with so many others who feel the same and I have watched people's live be changed by peer-to-peer support.

My son was born in 2009 with a congenital heart defect and I was so blessed to find this amazing organization shortly after his birth. The support, education, and information that I needed to get through the crisis time and find hope, help, and healing. Mended Little Hearts has been my rock for the past 4 years and I'm so thankful for them. Connecting with other families who have walked the same journey has been invaluable.
