Review for WJCS-Westchester Jewish Community Services, White Plains, NY, USA
I found out about The Westchester Jewish Community Services about a year and a half ago when my wife became ill. We called The WJCS and they sent a wonderful Social Worker to help us with our problems. She was an exceptionally knowledgeable, kind and caring person and guided us through many difficult situations. Unfortunately, my wife's condition worsened and she subsequently died. However, The WJCS did not give up on me. The Social Worker has continued to work with me and help give me a new start in life. She also directed me to an excellent bereavement group, run by the organization, which has helped me considerably to get through this terrible period in my life. During the time that I have been working with WJCS, I have learned of the many services that they offer to the public. I am so impressed with all of the good work that The WJCS does for so many people, that I have become a volunteer worker for them.
