The Dog Liberator is remarkable on every level. Gisele has put together a program that should serve as a model for all animal rescues. An incredible network of volunteers who rescue, foster, and genuinely care have saved countless wonderful dogs from all over Florida and adjoining states. No shelters... real home fostering lets these dogs relax, re-socialize, and reveal their true nature. TDL has harnessed the power of social media to tell the stories of these dogs, which in turn helps them find their way into new homes with the best chance of forever success. We adopted our pair of Border Collie brothers, Boone & Dock, almost 2 years ago. Their story of rescue by TDL from a shelter in GA was both heartbreaking and inspiring... we are forever grateful to the entire team who saved them at the last minute from a certain sad fate, placed them into the loving foster care of Kevin & Mel, and made it possible for two amazing dogs to bless our lives. The Dog Liberator is a 5-star non-profit in every way.
