Review for Partners in Torah, Passaic, NJ, USA
I had an wonderful experience with Partners in Torah about 8 years ago, and I am still affected by it to this day. I was set up with an amazing woman who was kind, patience, and extremely knowledgeable. Our first learning session began by learning (in person) about Jewish ethics. We learned for about a month and then lost touch when I went abroad. A year later we got in touch again and our friendship has remained very close to this day. Even though we only did about a month of formalized learning, we bonded, and I still remain in touch with her today to seek her advice and to speak to her about spiritual (and sometimes not spiritual) matters. Over the years she has invited me to spend holidays with her family and made me feel like a sister and a daughter. It seemed only natural for her daughter to be the flower girl in my wedding this summer. Even though we now live in different states, we are still in touch. I am forever grateful for what I learned and continue to learn from my Partners in Torah mentor, Adina.
