I stumbled across Modest Needs last year doing an internet search. I had recently finished cancer treatment, and we had gotten behind in some bills. Winter was coming, and we had no propane, or money to get any. I was desperate, so I tried. I really did not think I would get any help, but I did! They helped us when we needed it the most, and I am so thankful! They were also very kind and helpful when our propane company sent back the check (I guess they didn't know who's account to credit the check to), and were quick to send out another one. :)
