I had the time of my life during my internship at CARE, living among and working with some of the best people and the most impressive animals in the world. Being an Ohioan, it is difficult for me to get down to Bridgeport, Texas, but I return as much as I possibly can to volunteer. CARE relies on a variety of generous donations to provide a wonderful home and sanctuary for lions, tigers, leopards, cougars, lemurs, as well as a coatimundi. This extraordinary nonprofit organization is open to the public thanks to its dedicated board of directors and volunteers. No other zoo or animal sanctuary can compare to CARE tours as visitors get the experience of a lifetime to learn about and see these magnificent animals up close. Come one come all and experience CARE for yourselves!!
