Review for Life Makers Egypt Association, Cairo, , Egypt

Rating: 3 stars

My Story in Life Makers Egypt

I am a volunteer in Life Makers Egypt since 9 years ago
My name is: Karima Mohamed

Each year hundreds of volunteers across Egypt donate their time for life makers associations, talents and energy to make life makers projects & programs happen all over Egypt.

They are young and old, men and women, studying and teaching, working and retired.
When you become a life maker volunteer you will:
• Be connected to a great network of volunteers, families and communities
• Develop leadership and communication skills
• Gain or improve your managerial skills
• Help enrich your local community

In life Makers Egypt we have lots of opportunities for volunteers, it is very important to state why you would want to be a volunteer and also what qualifications that you have that can assist us during any of our activities.

Life Makers was the idea of Amr Khaled who announced that Arab Muslims want to live peacefully in coexistence with the West. His main teachings remain the same as those before him in more modern media, talking about everyday actions to get closer to Allah such as honesty, humbleness, and being polite.
He believes that for society to improve it must change from the grassroots (from the bottom up)
. Khaled promotes community development in the Arabic and Muslim nation based on what he terms "Faith Based Development" (Arabic: التنمية بالإيمان).

The idea is for people to develop their communities and countries with faith as their motivator and guide.
