I have volunteered with the One Less Foundation for a few months now and continue to be inspired every day by the amazing work of Ingrid Shepard, as well as every single client at the Philadelphia shelters that are served by her organization. The organization is truly breaking the mold of the traditional financial education model by representing beneficiaries as the strong and capable human beings that they are, instead of viewing them as victims of situations. TOLF represents more than just an educational initiative. Through the financial literacy program, people are taking control of their financial future, going back to school, finding new jobs, participating in life coaching training, and securing themselves a place with other successful members of society. The One Less Foundation has far exceeded my expectations of what a nonprofit can accomplish, and I stand behind all the work that Ingrid has done, and will continue to do for many years.
