Review for Family Promise Of Southwestern Pennsylvania, Crafton, PA, USA
Family Promise of Southwestern Pennsylvania connects children and families experiencing homelessness with a network of local congregations and dedicated staff, all focused on providing them with shelter, meals, hospitality, and support until they are able to return to sustainable independent lives in their own homes.
The volunteers are tremendously inspired to help those who are temporarily homeless. There are drivers to take them between their "home base" and a local overnight stay. Meals are prepared and served by volunteers. Bedding has an overnight host to stay if there are emergency needs. There are evening hosts. All of these volunteers help them to find what they need in addition to the professionals at Family Promise.
The children are precious!! Family Promise volunteers ask for information on the children after they find their way to housing and jobs or whatever is needed to get these families on the road to success.
