Review for Arizona Humane Society, Phoenix, AZ, USA
Great place to volunteer! The staff may take time to warm up to you - they understand certain volunteers loose interest after a few months and won't return. However, after volunteering for a few years I truly feel like part of the AHS family. As a recent college grad, I wanted to make a difference but didn't have the funds to contribute. As a volunteer and foster parent I never feel obligated to make a monetary donation but instead I am given information about all the ways I can help by investing my time. It can be overwhelming to help at an animal shelter and sometimes heart breaking but I am so proud to be apart of this organization!
