I've always been sensitive to issues i find socially relevant like child labor, trafficking and abuse of women and children. Writing about them enabled me to express myself and Deltawomen became the best avenue to do this. It became a means for creating and spreading awareness on these social issues which Deltawomen also espoused. It opened opportunities for volunteers like me to expand our social network and send our message across borders to elicit support and action...and it worked!

Deltawomen not only gave us the freedom to raise and express our issues, but also developed in us a sense of accomplishment for what we truly believed in.
