Review for WJCS-Westchester Jewish Community Services, White Plains, NY, USA
My daughter is one of six very fortunate Jewish women who reside at Chai House, a group home opened by WJCS in March 2009. Chai House not only provides a safe and caring environment, but it also enables the women to mantain their Jewish observance and traditions. My family and I are very grateful to WJCS for all that they have done and continue to do to make Chai House a wonderful place for these women to live. The planning that went into this endeavor spanned a four-year period, during which numerous meetings were held with the families and also with the community. WJCS hired a competent and caring staff for the residence, and were and continue to be responsive to all issues and concerns raised by the families. It is difficult to think of even one matter that WJCS has not dealt with in a professional and effective manner. Because of the vision and efforts of WJCS, my daughter and the other five women will live in a warm, safe, and nurturing Jewish environment for the rest of their lives.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the professionalism and commitment of the staff, and their willingness to work closely with clients and families to address all of our concerns.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
intelligent, caring, and committed to making the Chai House endeavor a success.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
open more group homes to meet the growing need for residential services and provide more outreach services to the community.
