Review for Ellen Gifford Sheltering Home, Brighton, MA, USA
I lost my cat Casey in 2000. I was sure I did not want another cat but in February 2001, someone who had been at the Gifford Shelter told me about a 6 year old gray female named Luna who was living in the Gifford Office because she was not getting along with other cats but loved people and laps. Luna and I met and we hit it off immediately. She moved right in and was with me until I lost her at age 17 to Diabetes and kidney failure. I love this shelter, The people are always helpful, the place is spotless and the cats live in large spaces and have access to a fenced in yard for out door play. I have called the shelter many times over the years with questions about finding a home for a stray, or helping a friend find a new companion and have always gotten an immediate answer and/or resources to use. LOVE THIS PLACE
