Review for Modest Needs Foundation, New York, NY, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The Modest Needs Foundation is a wonderful organization that helps without hesitation. They are there for anyone who is in a dire financial need and gives hope and reassurance that good people do still exist! My husband had under gone his third knee surgery within two years and, as a self employed contractor, it had definitely put a financial strain on our business and family. We were still hanging on though, thinking that we had all our medical bills carefully balanced and budgeted out. That was until we received just one more medical bill. After receiving that last bill, we began to see everything we had worked so hard to build begin to crumble. It was then I had found out about Modest Needs and sent a request for a grant. To my husband's and my surprise, we were awarded the grant and saw the generosity and goodness in people. Modest Needs not only helped us financially, but also gave us hope. They are simply a blessing.
