Review for Rattlebox Nature Center Ltd, Chadds Ford, PA, USA
Rattlebox offers the types of experiences ALL children deserve to have: meeting animals, caring for them and learning their needs, feeling empowered by the experiences of riding ponies and providing animal care, spending time away from technology and immersed in a quiet outdoor space. My children love Rattlebox and beg me to sign them up. Cleaning cages, riding ponies, and petting bunnies, dogs, and guinea pigs never gets old for them. Valerie is a patient mentor who teaches the children all kinds of nature facts that they are eager to share at home. Rattlebox is just superb!
Review for Greener Partners, Malvern, PA, USA
It's such a pleasure to praise the huge contributions Greener Partners is making! I benefit from their work in numerous ways. Greener Partners welcomes my college students to volunteer and learn at Longview and Hillside, and my students have had life-changing experiences learning on the farms. I greatly value the ways in which GP is showing people throughout the Philly metro area what organic produce is, what sustainable agriculture is, and how people of all ages, living situations, and income levels can benefit fromsustainable agriculture at their homes, their farmers markets, their schools, or on the farms. Personally, I live near Hillside and buy Hillside produce at the Media Farmer's Market; it is glowing with freshness and nourishes my family! Additionally, my daughter had a wonderful experience volunteering at the Hillside children's summer camp. As a college professor, a community member, and someone who loves fresh food, I have benefited tremendously from the caring, expert work of GP's many outstanding employees, from the education staff to the farmers.
