Review for Hand in Paw, Birmingham, AL, USA
Hand in Paw and its wonderful team of volunteers help change the lives of countless individuals in so many different ways. The therapy teams incent and encourage those recovering from injury or illness, provide much-needed to relief to those enduring grief or trauma, and serve as a comforting and soothing presence for reluctant readers and others facing sociological challenges.
There are few limits to the effect of the animal-human bond and Hand in Paw makes wonderful things happen through its programs' practical application of it.
