Review for Best Dawg Rescue Inc., Bethesda, MD, USA
We at Best DAWG Rescue are a dedicated group of volunteers that seek to find forever homes for the unwanted and stray dogs and the occasional cat that we take in. We often take in shelter animals that other groups have passed by due to costly medical needs of the animal. Our goal is to make sure those that are taken in have the proper veterinary care prior to placement. Because our dogs have been uprooted from their previous homes due to many circumstances we try to make the best possible match for both the adopter and the animal to make sure that it is a lifetime relationship. We work with adopters to ensure that they understand the needs of a particular animal through educating them about potential problems and encouraging proper training from the start. We provide them with literature and give our contact information to call us if a problem should arise after the adoption takes place. We are committed to every single animal we take in. We have a review committee to go over an adopter's application. Our screening process is to help us select the best permanent home for the animal as well as help a potential adopter select the best animal for their lifestyle. The right match means a happy home for both the animal and the adopter.
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
dogs being matched with the proper adopter.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
not change a thing.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
matching dogs with their forever homes and being with great voluteers.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
compassionate and wonderful.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
save more animals.
Ways to make it better...
there were more resources to help the animals.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
the financial needs.
One thing I'd also say is that...
we are making a difference for the lives of many animals.
