The transformation the rescued apes go through once they come to the Center for Great Apes is inspiring and heart warming. This incredible team are so dedicated to the care, dignity and enrichment of the orangutans and chimpanzees in their care - it’s phenomenal.

I am a fan of the Center for Great Apes because they are so well organized, well-run and well managed. The facilities are spotless - from the medical room to the kitchen (which is cleaner than most restaurant kitchens I have seen). Even the habitats where the apes live and play are cleaned each day and night.
The Center for Great Apes is run like a top notch business. With no products to sell that is a challenge I am sure but I have always been so impressed how professional everything is done from start to finish.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
share more stories about the inner workings of the sanctuary. It takes a lot of team members, volunteers and donors to make the sanctuary function as well as it does. How do they do it? That is what I would like to know - so I can apply that knowledge to my business and daily life!
