C.A.R.E.
Review for Ahimsa Foundation, Boston, MA, USA
Ahimsa has been a good friend and supporter of our little group C. A. R. E. and our no-kill, cage-free Sanctuary in the high desert of Los Angeles county for many years. Their ongoing kindness has helped us keep on keeping on and means more to us than we can say. Their name speaks for itself and their philosophy.
Review for Ahimsa Foundation, Boston, MA, USA
Tha Ahimsa Foundation has long been a supporter of our grass roots endeavor "C.A.R.E.' . We began in 1992 as a rescue support group in Los Angeles, then opened a no-kill sanctuary in the Los Angeles High Desert in 1998. It was at this point that we came to know and work with the Ahimsa Foundation. You see we started our sanctuary out bass-ackwards, having rescued 300+ doomed animals and having to rely on our sweat, tears and prayers for miracles to keep this good-hearted but poorly funded project (and it's 300 animal lives) alive. The Ahimsa Foundation, in our eyes, counts as one of the miracles. Year after year their generosity gave us the strength to continue on.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
We know that the eonomony has decimated eveybody but in particular those who relied on investments. We fear that it has especially hurt the dear Ahimsa Foundation and thye are in our prayers and positive thoughts. It seems sometimes miracles do occur for those who struggle so hard to do nothing more than alliviate suffering in our world. Ahimsa is one of these. we pray that the miracle we were just speaking of may find them.
