Review for Last Chance Animal Rescue Inc, Waldorf, MD, USA
It has been three years since my dog died at this clinic without having a neuter surgery, on April 28, 2008 They used Xylazine 100mg/ml labeled for cattle & horses. The drug manufacturer stated NOT recommended for cats & dogs, yet they used it anyway. My dog died at this clinic . I do not recommend this clinic. My life has been changed by this and my heart forever remais broken. I had to pick a star as a rating but they don't deserve not even one star.

Waldorf Well Pet Clinic is where I took my dog to have a neuter surgery not knowing that this clinic was operated by last chance rescue. My dog was given a drug 43 times with a higher risk factor than other comparable ,safer drugs and he died before any surgery occurred.(XYLAZINE)T,his is a drug that is over 30 years old now their are safer drugs.I was charged for a surgery that NEVER happened. My dog should not have died. My life will never be the same. My dog was only 2 years 10 months old and he was found to be a normal dog on a necropsy report. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY TO ANYONE.

My dog had not died using a drug off label without my informed consent and if I had been made aware that this clinic was operated by a rescue group to begin with. I was NOT informed.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
The way they treat people when their dog dies at their facility and not informing clients that they are affillated with a rescue group. Using drugs not recommended by the drug Manufacturer.
