Review for Upper American River Foundation, Carmichael, CA, USA
The Upper American River Foundation (UARF) was formed in 2007 when Board Members of the Placer County Resource Conservation District (RCD) proposed that the American River Watershed Group (ARWG) should have a 501c3 nonprofit arm for sustainability.
Since the ARWG became inactive following watershed grant offerings being terminated and historic RCD management retirements, UARF has continued to exist and uses volunteers to try and keep active in the American River Watersheds.
Anyone can follow our activities at our website http://upperamerican.com and a Facebook presence at https://www.facebook.com/UpperAmericanRiverFoundation
We welcome volunteers who have an interest and connection to the Upper American River Watersheds above Folsom Reservoir to contact us and join our efforts. If you are interested, please contact: Bill Templin wetemplin@att.net or 916-601-9954
