Review for The Hillel JUC of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA, USA
This is my second experience as a board member. As a professor at a Catholic university in Pittsburgh, the draw to the JUC is compelling both personally and professionally. Given the demographics of my university, there are a surprising number of Jewish students at both the UG and Grad levels. It is important to help connect these students - whether they are native Pittsburgh-ers or by choice, to the thriving Jewish community.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
unbelievably committed to the JUC (bd mtg attend. is well over 90%)!Since people choose (including the staff) how to spend time and resources, everyone works tirelessly to make sure that this impt. resource offers a meaningful entree into the J.community.

Role: Board Member & I have been involved with the JUC since I have lived in Pittsburgh (18 years). This is my second go-round as a board member. I am currently the board VP for Campus Life.
