Review for Wisconsin Nicaragua Partners of the Americas, Inc., Stevens Point, WI, USA
Wisconsin/Nicaragua Partners is a most impressive not-for-profit organization which is changing the lives of participants in both Nicaragua and Wisconsin. Programs that teach sewing and sewing machine repair, bicycle repair, cake decorating, square meteer gardening, dairying and cheese making, firefighting, sports, and lending libraries give Nicaraguans skills to improve the quality of their lives. These programs allow a diverse groups of Wisconsin particpants to share their expertise and interests with enthusiastic, motivated, hard-working Nicaraguans who share those interests. And ALL the participants benefit from the shared learning experience and human interaction. It is truly a program of mutual enrichment through person to person interaction.
