Peppermom
Review for Ellen Gifford Sheltering Home, Brighton, MA, USA
I am a foster mom to one of Gifford's cats. As such, I've had the opportunity to see the operation close up. The management and volunteers have made a comfortable and happy home for their cats. It is a cageless environment and the cats also have access to a protected outside area. All the cats appear very healthy and well cared for.
Fostering a cat Is a good deal. I get love and companionship and a cat in need gets a home until it is adopted. And Gifford pays for all the cat's needs--food, litter, and vet care.
Management seems to work hard at fund-raising. It is obvious that they care very much for their charges. The cats who end up here are lucky indeed.
