Review for Areyvut, Bergenfield, NJ, USA
YCS was fortunate to be a part of a Areyvut Bar/Bat Mitzvah fair at The JCC in Tenafly NJ. Great idea, well attended and helpful in making new contacts. As a result of that original exposure we were asked to present to their young entrepeneur group to request a grant. The idea of empowering young jewish teenagers to carefully examine how this works and allow them to decide whom they felt should get the money they raised is an invaluable lesson for each of these aspiring philanthropists. It also provided much needed funds for a summer program for some of YCS' children. Their programs empower the students to think and grow.
