Review for Forest Animal Rescue by Peace River Refuge & Ranch, Silver Springs, FL, USA
I volunteered many years ago when the sanctuary was located on Peace River & had been devastated by a hurricane. I met Lisa & Kurt & was immediately impressed by their dedication to the animals in their care.
If I lived closer I would be volunteering every day because this couple puts the animals FIRST & that's what separates them from so many other organizations.

Review for Forest Animal Rescue by Peace River Refuge & Ranch, Silver Springs, FL, USA
I have visited many animal rescue organizations & this one deserves 5 stars plus. Every animal is clean, well fed & very content even in the small enclosures awaiting their permanent homes. I see few non-profits where the animals are top priority but this one is definitely it. I admire their dedication & energy as they rebuild in an even better location.
