Review for Oldies But Goodies (OBG) Cocker Rescue, Arlington, VA, USA
I give regularly to OBG. I volunteer for them occasionally as well. They are a terrific organization. They stay focused on their mission, they act from the heart, and they have no overhead. All their costs go to getting dogs well and getting dogs in home. If I won the lottery tomorrow, I would give them half. Great organization on every level.

Great organization! They work in poor communities to help them find and own permanent solutions to their poverty and they fight bad behavior from governments and corporations that keeps people poor. I really know my money is making a difference with them!

help minimize the impacts of disasters on poor countries like Haiti and Bangladesh by helping communities build their own preparation and response systesm to deal with disasters. That way, they don't have to rely on the charity of other nations. Poor people would have the resources to manage and implement their own solutions, solutions that work for their paticular community.
