Review for Fort Worth Hope Center, Fort Worth, TX, USA
The Fort Worth HOPE Center is an organization that "Fights Hunger and Feeds HOPE" They fight hunger by distributing food three times a week to families and Seniors whose income falls in the TEXCAP poverty income guidelines. They average providing groceries for over 100,000 individuals annually.
They "feed HOPE" through their School of HOPE which provides training and certification for entry level jobs such as OSHA Forklift and Scissor lift certification and ServSafe Food managers Certification and new Front of the HOUSE Certification for jobs in the food industry of local restaurants and banquet halls in hotels throughout the Metroplex. They also earn certifications for institutional food services and catering, plus Cake Decorating from beginner to advanced.
Partnering with Workforce and with their inhouse job search team and preparation class "Preparing for Success" their students get personal care and preparation for entering the workforce.
Fort Worth HOPE Center also has a Dental office (Hope SMILE Center) which serves individuals with missing or broken teeth to restore their SMILE with new teeth. This also restores their self esteem and helps prepares them for their job interviews. Dr. Laurence Oliver from Oliver Implants in Colleyville, TX is the director of the Hope SMILE Center and has restored over 35 smiles which has made a life changing impact in the lives of those who have been blessed by these services.
