Review for MID-ATLANTIC PUG RESCUE , Henrico, VA, USA
I have been volunteering for Mid-Atlantic Pug Rescue (MAPR) for several years now. I have done reference checking, transport, events and fostering. MAPR's philosophy is "Let no pug go unloved." All fostered pugs are taken care of in private homes which have been thoroughly checked out and approved - no kennels or facilities. The pugs are given medical care when needed and all funds go to the care of the pugs. MAPR is run entirely by volunteers with a heart for pugs. Participating in MAPR has given me new friends, people and pugs, great medical and care information, and satisfaction in helping our little companions. I feel I have received so much more than I have given. It's so wonderful when one of our furbabies finds a forever home with loving adoptive parents.
