Review for Partnership for Children and Youth, Oakland, CA, USA
The Bay Area Partnership for Children and Youth has provided an invaluable link for the California State Legislature between the after school field and policy makers. As a legislative aide to a Bay Area State Senator, I have found the Bay Area Partnership to be a great resource on many issues impacting youth statewide as well as locally, and a terrific advocate for both youth development and children's health causes.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
successful statewide legislation, implementing and streamlining over $675 million in annual state and federal after school program funding in California.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
knowledgable and responsive staff, and an important mission.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
dedicated and experienced.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
ensure that the state and federal investment in after school and health programs for our youth are targetted to communities most at need and that the funds are responsive to students' needs.
