Review for Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, Alexandria, VA, USA
Sea Shepherd Conservation Society is one of the very few non profits that fights to save our oceans and marine eco-system. At a time when millions of sharks, tuna and other fish stocks are plundered by humans, endangered whales and dolphins massacred in the name of culture, and marine eco-systems destroyed by bottom trawlers, Sea Shepherd has effectively fought to protect the Oceans and it's creatures. If Oceans die, we die. Our planet will become just like a bare planet such as Mars. Even with governments, politicians, and those who look to profit by exploiting all the planet's resources trying to stop Sea Shepherd, they have done a great job standing up to it and protecting our Oceans for future generations. Great job Sea Shepherd and I hope you will get the recognition well deserved.

Review for Rainforest Trust, Warrenton, , USA
World Land Trust - US is one of the best non profit organizations dedicated to protecting the vanishing Rainforests, Cloud Forests and Dry Savannahs of South America. They do this by partnering with reliable local organizations and helping them purchase and establish forest and wildlife sanctuaries in areas that have very high bio-diversity or areas that are inhabited by critically endangered species. One example is the protection of dry savannahs of Bolivia for the protection of critically endangered blue throat macaw and maned wolf. I have been extremely happy as a donor to WLT US during the past 4 years where more than 95% of donation goes directly to the projects for establishing the sanctuaries and staffing them. I hope WLT US will get the recognition it well deserves.
