I have been involved with this non-profit for over 10 years. It has an amazing mission to provide clean water for villages in the country of Niger. Our newest project is a well for a health clinic which allows women to give birth in clean conditions. This ensures much lower infant mortality. Clean water is key to the safety of women and girls and a well in the village allows girls the opportunity to attend school if they do not need to spend the day trekking 3 miles to get water. Another thing about this non-profit: when people donate, 100% of their donation is earmarked for the wells.

This amazing non-profit started over 10 years ago by a small group of supporters. It ballooned into an organization that funds wells in the poor villages of Niger. The transformation in the lives of these beautiful people is truly wonderful. Clean water allows girls to go to school (instead of walking 3 miles to get "bad" water); an on-site well reduces: incidents of attack and rape; reduces infant mortality; allows better nutrition because the villagers can grow food; improvement of the overall health of the people. So many-many-advantages to having a well drilled in the village! Especially now, with Covid-19 rampant, access to clean water is paramount everywhere.

I have been involved with Wells Bring Hope for the last 10 years. Being able to support an organization such as this is a true pleasure.

It is amazing what an impact a well can make on a village. Clean water means reduced infant mortality; safety for girls and women (who no longer have to walk 3 miles to get "bad" water); and education. The girls can now go to school and the women can establish micro-businesses, thereby raising the economy of the village. This is a win-win-win-win and so much more!

This charity amazes me! Who else uses 100% of the donation to drill the wells? (none of our dollars are used for admin!) Not only that, but the wells are supervised for 15+ years after they are drilled to ensure the villages have the maintenance they need to keep everything in good working condition. Clean water creates: reduction in infant mortality; education for girls who can go to school instead of walking to find water; time for women to begin micro-businesses and general economic growth for the village. So much for so little!

I have had the honor to be involved with this nonprofit from it's inception. I SOO believe in providing safe water, and at the same time empowing girls to be educated. It is incredibly inexpensive to drill a well! And these wells make for changes which have a far-reaching ripple effect. When you read about the marvelous changes which occur in the villages, you can't help but want to participate! "Wells Bring Hope" has the amazing mission to use every dollar we donate to drill wells ... their operating expenses are covered by other sponsors. What more can you ask for in a nonprofit?!! Love this org!

Wells Bring Hope does the most wonderful work! Not only clean water to villages (which helps to eradicate disease and keep children healthy), but it also frees the women and girls from being "water fetchers". The way this ends up supporting women and girls, is amazing. If they do not have to walk 3 miles to fetch water for the village, they can go to school! And...we all know how important THAT is for livelihood and well being of the entire village. i MUST ADD: it is one of the few non-profits where all of the money that is donated, goes directly to drilling wells. You couldn't ask for more.

It is my pleasure to give 5-stars to Wells Bring Hope! They are doing immensely important work by providing clean water to villages in Africa. The wells they drill give immediate help to the people and especially to the girls whose job is to fetch the water (often from a long distance away from the village). The organization is run by volunteers who care deeply and they have an outstanding ratio of charitable dollars donated to dollars spent on administration.
