Review for Friends of the Arava Institute, Boston, MA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The Arava Institute is one of the few programs in the world that blends idealism with pragmatism. How our earth allocates environmental resources for the current and future generations is so critical for the sustainability of life on Earth. And how mankind gets along is the genius to Arava. Arava is a microcosm of what our world can and should be. Possible adversaries and now allies in a challenge to sustain the environment for us and future generations. My bike ride through the Arava Valley in 2004 inspired me then and now to write these thoughts. We are indebted to the leaders of The Arava Institute; and so are the generations to come. I just can't say enough.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

developing the concept that we are stewards for the environment. We are just passing thru and have a responsibility to maintain and impore the resources that God has bestowed upon us.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

universe class.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About once a year

Role:  General Member of the Public & In 2004 I took the Arava sponsored bike ride from Jerusalem to Eilat.
