My Nonprofit Reviews

Norma Villazana-Price
Review for Reading Tree, San Francisco, CA, USA
The Reading Tree has provided the families in our class with opportunities to learn more about the importance of literature and reading for young children. The teachers in class create activities and provide modeling for the families to learn from. The songs and reading of books to very young children on a regular basis helps those children and families have tools which will benefit their overall educational experience.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the way the families and children look forward to reading and receiving a book which they can use to build a wonderful library.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
have a larger budget, larger staff, etc. to reach as many families and children that we can.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
how they respect the needs of the families and children and work on ways to meet their needs.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
hard-working, dedicated and eager to make a difference.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
have many more classes in which Reading Tree would be part of or build a program that housed The Reading Tree and families and children could come there.
Ways to make it better...
they could be extended into more community programs.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
lack of funds.
One thing I'd also say is that...
I wish the funds were available to expand this wonderful program.
