When I began working with RAJE, I was not very sure as to what I was getting myself into. A non-profit organization which would give hundreds of Russian Jews a free trip to Israel while spending a semester giving them free lesons on Judiasm, Changing their lives and giving them free food and places to stay for Shabboses and holidays just seemed too good to be true. So I decided that I would give it a shot, after all, I had nothing to lose. When I started doing my peer mentor groups and working as a Chavrusa, teaching Jews about Judiasm, I realized wow, this is AWSOME! Not only was I giving to others but I found myself gaining tons of spiritual growth, having the privilage to learn from great Rabbies for the first hour of my Sunday session and then gaining even more be educating Jews who have barely heard of lighting candles of Shabbos. I felt as if I was in my year in Israel, and swirmed in the vast treasurous world of Torah. For allowing me to once again make a set time for Torah and giving me the opportunity to give and teach, I only can thank RAJE. Everything they claim to do is 100% true, and they go beyond their word, enriching and changing the lives of the Jewish people far way beyond the letter of the law.
