Review for Wire Fox Terrier Rescue Midwest, Mokena, IL, USA
WFTR Midwest is an organization dedicated to rescuing fox terriers, and other similar breeds. Their volunteers rescued a two year old wire from a shelter that had been "find the dog a home or destroy it, by the owner of a puppy mill. After two weeks in the care of WFTR, Tilly (her new name), had been treated by a vet, cleaned up and evaluated. My wife and I were able to adopt this small two year old that for the first two years of life only knew living in a wire cage. Their volunteers rescue about 100 dogs a year.

Review for Catskill Animal Sanctuary, Saugerties, NY, USA
One of my top ten charities. Considering how few sanctuaries exist for animals that usually end up being eaten it is over state the importance of this organization.
