Operation Second Chance is an amazing non-profit organization that assisted my family during our time of need while at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and once my husband was medically retired. Cindy McGrew and OSC works tirelessly to provide care for soldiers and their families. Whether it is through financial assistance, family support or just a fun event to allow our minds to not focus on our current reality. I cannot stress the help that was provided to myself and my family with love and compassion. The salon days organized for us wives to just get a hair cut, because taking care of yourself is not a top priority when in our situations, were simply a blessing. The events for our children put a smile on their faces when life was tough. And the support provided to the wounded warriors is beyond anything expected. My husband and I are so grateful for this organization we try whenever possible to assist with fundraising, most recently with my daughters Girl Scout troop donating a percentage of their cookie sales. OSC & Cindy continue to be a blessing in our lives!
